Residing @ Gorwydd, Llanddewi Brefi [Ho107/2487/274/14] on the 1851 census were Joseph Richards, 37, widower, born Llanfairclydogau; also his sons William (11) and John (8) both born in Llanddewi Brefi.  Margaret Jones was also in the household, 25, born Llanddewi Brefi.  Joseph’s wife Mary, daughter to the head of household, died 1846.

On FreeBMD I found in Marriages Sep Qtr 1852 for Tregaron were listed
Jones  Margaret     Tregaron  11b 116
Richards  Joseph     Tregaron  11b 116

Could someone please do a look-up on the 1861 for Joseph Richards

Thanks, Roy

Hello Roy  :)

I have searched the full listings and Joseph is not on 1861 in Gorwydd or Llanddewi Brefi. I found a Jonathan Richards, age 66, shoemaker, and daughter Elizabeth age 12, but no sign of Joseph.

Kind Regards
Morgan

Strange, okay thanks for your help; I'll check the 1881, see what I can find.
