There are Ellen and John (Jack?) Tighe births in Lancashire in the right years.

Do you know where or when John Tighe (b 1861) died? Might he have left the country before his wife and children or be somewhere else on that same passenger list?

Finally figured it out. Sarah Tighe had twins it seems in Newport News, and Mary Agnes the girl survived, marrying locally and later moving to nearby Williamsburg, Virginia. All of the other children died young, excepting Jack who was still alive age 15 working in dockyard. There are descendants.
