Also any pictures or information, Nathan Pendle grew up to selling furniture at mumber 70 high street (where friends chinese resturant is now) John Pendle eventually retired as a postman and became a waiter, he was connected to the freemasons at some stage so info on those would be helpfull

Leo Pendle was a Parcel Carrier But eventually he moved to colchester and was buried there in 1951? more details on him would be ideal

Wallace Pendle immigrated to Boston, USA in his 20's, he was a carpenter, but records show his proffession as builder and the Real estate, so it looks like he did well, no signs of children by him that i've found

The Pendle Girls i asumme have been married off so any info on this is smashing Ideally i would love to know anything about them or find any relatives to share info

The last pendle in Halstead area as i said is John R Pendle who was a schoolteacher and Headmaster of wethersfield Primary school until his retirement in 1988

Do you know if this Pendle/al line originated over the border in Suffolk?

Pat ...

Every time I find an ancestor,
I have to find two more!

SUFFOLK - Pendle, Stygall, Pipe, Fruer, Bridges, Fisk, Bellamy, Sparham - all link to  Framlingham
DERBY - Bridges and Frost (originally Framlingham/Parham)
NOTTINGHAM - Lambert & Selby
BERKSHIRE/then Hammersmith LDN - Fulker
LDN/MDX - Murray, Clancy, Broker, Hoskins, Marsden, Wilson, Sale

GGfather Michael Wilson born Cork, lived Fulham London - moved to Boston USA 1889, what happened next?

Ok found out some more details on John Pendle senior (b.1835) His mother Phoebe Pendle was unmarried when she had John so we don't have a father, but in 1843 phoebe married William Newton from Halstead and moved to halstead until her death. John eventually came back to Halstead and Married Emma, a local girl working at the Silk Mills.

How can i find out who phoebe's parents were as i can't seem to go back further than 1811 with ancestry.co.uk ??? ???
