Ann Briggs baptised 17/2/1777 Wisbech-father Thomas, mother Sarah.
John and Robert Bennington both from Emneth in Norfolk. witness's at John's marriage Andrew Bodgere and Tom Bowill. Robert married to Mary Row 18/10/1774 at Wisbech. witnesses John Bennington and Rachel Hall. Info all on FreeREG.

Good work Paco
Is Ann Briggs baptism a transcription or from some other index ?
To see the actual record in fiche form or transcription I would find where Thomas Briggs was from. Not all parishes do this.

Thanks Alberbury

FreeREG is a site that volunteers-of which I am one, transcribe from original parish records. There is quite a lot of work being done in the Cambridgeshire area at the moment, and it is a very reliable site to use.

This would have been better on a new thread on the Surrey or London boards, as it is only peripherally connected to Cambs.

In 1841 Amelia was 13, in 1851 she was 18. Which one is correct?

Aged 18 in 1851 looks iffy when compared to her mother's age of 70, but their ages of 13 and 58 in 1841 look more feasible. But a baptism of her assumed mother in 1777 and the birth of a child in 1828 when Ann would have been 51 still looks doubtful.

Doesn't alter the fact that I can't find Amelia's baptism either.
