*COMPLETED* Marriage Look up Please
« on: Tuesday 28 February 12 10:22 GMT (UK) »
Hello, wondering if anyone can find the marriage of William Peyton (sometimes spelt Payton) and Mary Saberton, perhaps in Ely?  I think they were both born abt 1811.  I have that the first child was Eliza born abt 1831.  I have census data for 1841, 1851, 1861.  Also the birth cert for my  3x G grandmother Julia Peyton born 4/8/1853 Witchford which states William was a School Master.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.   :)

Hi Pauline,

In 1841 I have them in Parish of Witchford, registration district of Ely, sub district Sutton and apparently this is where Eliza was born on 1 Jan 1832.  If I have it correct.

Thanks,

Christine

Of this Parish - it only means they were resident there, it does not mean they were born there.
