Had William & Esther's wedding certificate today. Not in Croesgoch Baptist chapel as expected but at Rehoboth independent chapel.

Now I have the fathers' names, I'd hoped to find William & Esther as children before the censuses ran out! No luck so far though, so any suggestions welcomed.

Wedding day was 19 June 1856.
William Griffiths, age 25, bachelor, husbandman, Tyllwyd, Thomas Griffiths (deceased), carpenter
Esther Rees, age 30, spinster, - , Trevellyn, John Rees, turner.

William was born in Llandeloy around 1832, Esther in Llandysillio anywhere from 1817 to 1826 according to the censuses and wedding certificate.

Morganllan previously found Esther in 1851 in Trefelyn - reply no 3 on this related topic  http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,583848.0.html
which can be locked/closed as Henry is complete. Note Esther hasn't aged in the 5 years til her marriage!.

But even using the name and occupation info available, I can't find any other census record of either William or Esther, and would be really grateful for suggestions.

Also, anyone know where Tyllwyd (where William was living at the time of his wedding) might be?

Tyllwyd could be the one at Llandeloy:

where in 1851 a 50 year old William S Lloyd, Esquire, was the Farmer. No sign of William Griffiths though.

Thanks Morganllan, that's amazing.... 

not only is Ty Llwyd there, and I've found Trefelyn, Mathry too (so both of Henry's parents), but only a short distance away are both Treglemais and Abernant where Anne Thomas and John Owen (Henry's wife Jane's parents) were living at the time of their marriage in 1852 

Still can't find William in '41 or '51, nor Esther in '41 though
