Completed 1861 Census - Davies
« on: Monday 02 April 12 14:44 BST (UK) »
I am looking for Jacob Davies (b about 1871).  I can find him in 1871 with his son John and daughter Mary at Hendai, Coedmore. In 1851 Census he was at the same farm with his father Timothy. But can find no trace in 1861 census. I would appreciate any help or advice with this search. Being close to Lampeter it could be Cardiganshire, but I think it is in Carmarthenshire.

Welcome to Rootschat.   There is a Coedmor Cottage advertised for holiday let which is apparently an old farm.   It is just over the river from Lampeter and is therefore in Carmarthenshire.

there are quite a lot of missing parts from the 1861 census - Pencarreg is on the list.
