Hi Cupcake,
I apologise if this thread is now complete. On doing a search on Rootschat I found it, and hope it is of help.
On message #15 you mentioned "I have also looked for a Christina". The name Jardine has shown up in connection with an ancestor by the name of James Wigfield who in June 1808 "married a Mrs Christina Maria Jackson in Falmouth, Cornwall, daughter of the late Col. Alexander Jardine of the Royal Artillery".(ref Royal Cornwall Gazette & others). My James Wigfield was born in about 1773 made a lieutenant in the 1812 in the 1st Regiment of the Tower Hamlet Militia and was alive in 1861 Census, age 94 (?). I have a death certificate of a James Wigfield, and now his will, though I'm not sure it is really my J.W. He bequeaths his wealth to Charlotte Jackson(widow of William Jackson), and 4 of her daughters. I'm confused by it all.
