Scrimmers has returned!!

Soaking wet kit, blisters (our boots never had a chance to dry out!!) and a stress fracture...But all worth it to raise money and then at the end, to march through the Menin Gate in full WW1 Northamptons kit...I took off my RAMC tunic for the last bit into Ypres...

Thank you so much to all whom have donated, and if you havent...there is time yet

One more charge and then be dumb,

May the victors when they come

Jolly good show, chaps!  I applaud you, I really do - and in such atrocious weather.  My grandad Harry would have been proud of you (he mentions some horror marches in his letters and diaries from France).

Well done!  Looks as though the weather was a little kinder to you once you'd crossed the Channel.

A very very good evening to you Scrimmers,

A huge well done for all your efforts and your colleages. Have done several more texts for you and the lads. We have a chap at the end of our road who does a lot for Help for Heroes, drives a landrover covered in their posters.
Bit late with this but no internet for 2 days as we had to have our own broadband put in. Junior decided that at 34 it was time to fly the nest.

Best regards John915

Thanks mukker.... :)

Sadly we have no idea at the moment of how much we have raised via the text service ( send "march" to 70900  ;D), but another 100 has come in from one of the WFA branches in Essex
