Unforetunately I can't locate Elizabeth aged abt 6 in the 1841 census, the nearest is 9 with another family.

  Hi,
  Been looking at your thread, as I have an Andrew Albert Norris born 1852.
    But in Islip, Oxon. 
         The reason I looked here is Totnes. This is the only reference to him
   outside Oxford, a marriage in 1881, but there is no bride for him either.

    So if you come across an Andrew Albert, in your tree, I can discount him from mine.

  Other people on  page 263 -
    William Badcock, Charlotte Stevens, Checked them out in 1881 census. Living in
    Wolborough, aged 73 and 62, respectively.

    I shall check out the people on 253.

Yeah I noticed that actually, I got the number from the Family Relatives Website
www.familyrelatives.org
I suppose the only real way is to order the certificate.

I don't know if it is of any help to you, but I have an Eric LANG in my tree. No other details other than he married Maureen KNOTT in 1951, in the Newton Abbot district, Devon, in 1951.
Maureen came from Torquay.
