Nottingham or Derbyshire?

Can any one solve this problem, i dont know if the following ancestors where born in nottingham or derbyshire; napthali cresswell b. 1822, quinton cresswell b. 1818, micah cresswell b. 1816, please shed some light on this if you can, thanks, sandra

As Napthali was born in Denby and that is close to Ripley in Derbyshire... you have my answer 8)
Southern or Southan [Hereford , Monmouthshire & Glos], Jenkins, Meredith and Morgan [Monmouthshire and Glos.], Murrill, Damary, Damry, Ray, Lawrence [all Middx. & London], Nethway from Kenn or Yatton. Also Riley and Lyons in South Africa and Riley from St. Helena.
