Ann Watson b 1828 Kirkcolm

Ann Watson was born 1828  Kirkcolm Wigtownshire she married Samuel Smith born c 1822  Inch Stranraer in 1845 .

I have found some her family on the IGI  but wonder if someone can look her up on the Scottish census for me and that will enable me to find their names ages so I can then try and find their marriages and deaths.
A long time ago I was given the information that in 1881 she was a prisoner in Ayr how can I find out her crime if this is the case

I do know she died in Stranraer Poorhouse in 1897 ,the governor registered her death and she was said to be the widow of Samuel.

      Thank you for the information . I have her death cert. that is how I know she died in the Poorhouse in Stranraer

Kirkcowan and Kirkcolm are two different places in Wigtownshire and she was the sister of my gg grandmother.

The IGI shows her parents were Thomas Watson & Mary Fergusson so this could be them on the 1841 census in Kirkcolm - all children b Wigtown

The 1851 transcription has Mary as Margaret and Agnes is shown as 2yrs old - suspect it should be 12 but you would have to view the full image on Scotlands People to check
