I am trying to get birth details of my wifes uncle Below.  We cannot find a birth certificate for him.  Or any other details.

My wife and I wanted to make sure we had the right details.

Hello Shane,

We are going to order the birth certificate for Robert Conkie.  It is correct.

We have the marriage certificate of George Conkie and Jane Thorburn Borthwick.

Reading it before we only saw the date of 1916 at the bottom of the certificate..  This was a witness thing at the bottom of the certificate.  When it was sent from a local parish church to Chester.  The actual date of the marriage was August 29th 1912 after reading it again.

We didn't notice the proper date of marriage.  Till now !!.

How daft are we ?

there's a birth for a possible sister named Jeannie R. to Robert on the index on FreeBMD. It's in the Sept. quarter of 1916 in Northwich registration district Cheshire
