Beverley St Marys look up request COMPLETE

Hello, I have a marriage of an ancestor Jane Pearson to George Etherington in January 1619/20. I have the ancestry of George (back to 1470) but not of Jane Pearson. Does anyone have access to the Beverley St Mary's parish register published by the YAS?

The actual marriage date should read 27 February 1619/20.
The only baptism entry for a Jane Pearson is 25 April 1589 Jane, filius to Willelmi Pearson.

Thank you very much for that. I think her father's name was Thomas, but it is good to at least eliminate the register from my search.

There are entries for a Thomas Pearson as Father in this book, but i could find no baptism for a Jane other than the one whichi gave to you.
Also as a matter of interest there was a Nicholas Pearson who was Parish Clerk from 1636 to 1653.

Phil, I would be interested in the 'Thomas' entries. He was originally ofSkecklington, married in 1595 and baptised a son Richard at Hedon in 1597, so there shouldn't be any entries for him before then. Richard was married at Beverley in 1618-9.  Thomas was the Recorder of Beverley 1608 to 1623, which is the date of his will (which I am yet to view).

Phil, if you could indulge me once one, I have another somewhat confusing relative with the name of 'Christopher Lamplugh' who may have been born in Beverley in 1648, son of either John or George, are you able to check?

Admissions register of St John the Evangelist College at Cambridge: “Christopher Lamplugh, of Beverley Yorkshire son of John Lamplugh, merchant, bred at Grantham (Mr Stokes) admitted sizar for Dr Paman, tutor and surety Mr Watson 17 Feb 1663 aet 15” .

Register of the Beverley Grammar School: “12/10/1662  Ordered that Christofer Lamplugh son of George Lamplugh merchant have one of Doctor Metcalfe’s exhibitions viz years 6pds 12s 4d, provided he satisfy the Chamber that he is admitted at the University at Cambridge and that in St Johns College there and his first payment comment on 25th March next.” 

Quite an important rellie in my tree this one - a distant cousin of Kate Middleton and Price William if I have the lines right!
