Searching for any information on Henry Toms and his wife Mary A of Balranald please.  Looking around circa 1890's please.

Why do you think Henry TOMS and his wife were 'of Balranald' other than their marriage in 1889?

Have been advised that Henry was from Moon Island and Mary A possibly originally from Sydney - believe that Henry was a mariner and worked on a station in Balranald.

A couple of Henry Toms mentions.

1875 NSW PO Directory
Boat Harbour 340 miles North of Sydney.
Toms, Henry., Cook, Avon Lakes.

A Henry Toms was locked up for a week at the Cooma Gaol for attempted suicide.  Tried at the Cooma Quarter Sessions 8th November 1889.

Here's a curly - just found out that there are two Henry Toms married to Mary in NSW roughly the same time - one in Cooma area, one in Balranald area.  Believe that the Balranald Henry had possibly eight children or so.

This is the marriage, definitely TOMS - sorry but I stated earlier Henry was from Moon Island - big woops, that should have been Moon, Ireland.
