I searched before for John and Lizzie and didn't see any likely matches, I just double checked and nothing promising ... problem is they may not be together, particularly if their father or both parents were already deceased. If they were in institutions of some sort they will be listed under just initials and next to impossible to locate with certainty.

Do either Lizzie's marriage certs mention an occupation for her father ?
or do you have a civil cert for that possible marriage for John and Elizabeth ?

If he was still alive in 1901, his occupation might help locate him on the census..

Bear in mind though that some 1901 returns are missing for this area, so if part of the Daniels family lived in the Kilmainham area in 1901, the it's possible they are not listed online census

Hi Shane,

Unfortunately just a labourer which doesn't really help, i ambeginning to come to the same conclusion that they re probably in an institution somewhere and therefore impossible to trace. Thanks for your help

With reference to the above Daniels family of Kilmainham, I was wondering if there is a cemetery in Kilmainham and the likelihood of any indexes etc online?
Thanks
