FRee BMD has several possible marriages - looks like there are more than one person with this name around, unless he had several marriages and moved around a lot! What else do you know about 'your' one?

In 1861 he is a widower, and is in Pendleton Lancashire

So the 1859 marriage looks like his first

And the 1862 Salford (covers Pendleton) could well be a second

There is, however, a marriage in St Neots in 1827 of Stephen Hagger Dobson and Mary Addington McKenzie who may, or may not, be connected

apparantly family rumour has it that this 'Stephen st Neots Dobson' was supposed to be linked to Sir Morell Mackenzie (Born: July 7, 1837, Leytonstone Died: February 3, 1892, London)   I was actually told that he was a brother but this is definitely not so.  Am thinking his mother must be the link now, Mary Addington McKenzie, but am stuck!!  Perhaps she is a sister of Sir Morell's father, Stephen(1804-1853)?

I know Stephen's parents are John Mackenzie (b1873)and Elizabeth Symonds (b1883)but can't find any other children of theirs.

Any help again gratefully received.
