Cain & Murphy Marriage
« on: Monday 08 October 12 17:36 BST (UK) »
Hi,

Looking for the baptisms of both these people and possibly their marriage.
John Cain born around 1825 in Tyrone
Judith Murphy born around 1828 in Tyrone.

They married prior to 1851 as their eldest son, Robert, was born in Belfast in Belfast.

They were in Durham by 1853 as a son, John, was born at this time,

Thanks

Sue

Robert Kane was baptised in St Patrick's Belfast in April 1850, so parents John Kane and Judith Murphy likely married before that.

I am looking for the same information.  These are my Great Great Grandparents.  Do either of you have any more information you could share.

I have found that John died on 29 March 1907 in Consett.  Cannot find when Judith died (although she is sometimes referred to as Julia).

Any help would be fab.

Look forward to any response.

Regards
Sheelagh

Hi Sheelagh,

I was asking on behalf of a customer at work - I'll pass on your information and let you know if she responds.
