Samuel Brasenell marriage - 1750 Hinstock

Can anyone verify the marriage of a Samuel Brasenell & Mary Timmis/Innis on 31 Dec 1750 in Hinstock, Salop.  I'm particularly interested in the correct spelling of Mary's surname - if possible I would like a copy of this marriage entry - can anybody help me?

Yes, Allan I am aware of the familysearch entry but they are not always accurate - how can I get a copy of the actual marriage entry from Hinstock parish records?

I thought they were taken from Bishops Transcripts ?...then again ,I see your point ...most were written down by local curates who were not the most educated men ....just volunteers ...sorry , can`t advise ...don`t even know where Hinstock is ....all my ancestors were Astley /Hadnall / Myddle in Shropshire ...the only part of Shrops I know ...the Shrewsbury area...

From the Hinstock parish register:

1750:
Samuel Brazenell and Mary Timmis of Ercol (sic) parish were married December 31st.

I presume 'Ercol' should be Ercall; probably Childs Ercall, but possibly High Ercall.  :-\

Hi Robert39.

The entry is in the Hinstock General Register for the time, it's a handwritten book with baptisms, marriages and burials all mixed together; and quite illegible in places.

This marriage entry is a single line entry as given in my earlier post.

If you do need a copy, I'll see what I can do next time I'm at Shrewsbury archives.
