Moving Posts ?

Hello Sillgen
Ref : Thomas Goodsir post on Yorkshire (East Riding) - since the Goodsirs moved to Sunderland ( in about 1824) and then South Shields, and the story continues in that area, with the sons who went to sea, (and himself if I can find him!!) is it possible to move the whole post to Northumberland as it might be of more interest to people searching in that area, regarding ships, Goodsirs,Angas (Tammy's grandaughter married one, yet another Master Mariner) etc.

As they moved up to Bishopwearmouth and then Shields, I thought- I had better do the same !!!
due to the fact that it might be of more interest to people in that area, and of course I could find more info.
Since there is no Tyne & Wear forum, have moved to Norhtumberland under 'The Goodsir Family'

Thanks for all your Help

Best

John

Hello John,

Possibly another vessel for Thomas Goodsir - WENSUM from Newcastle at Oporto 15 September 1820 reported in Durham County Advertiser 21 October 1820.

And, no ... this database does not have the issue you want of the Advertiser for the 1825 loss of the TRANSFER.

Cheers,
Westoe
