Please has anyone access to the Marvel baptism records?
I have a Naomi Spilsbury married to a Benjamin Lawley and on the 1851 census she is born 1800 in Morvel Shropshire
Then I find Naomi Edmonds marrying a John SPISBURY in 1858 and on the 1861 census Naomi Spilsbury is born 1811 in Morvel Shropshire
Now I am curious to know was there a Naomi Spilsbury baptised About 1800 in Morvel and a Naomi Edmonds baptised there in about 1811 or is it one  lady marrying for a second time?
If the later I wonder how she related to John Spilsbury but he was born in Hanley Child in 1812 from the census

Hi,

I believe the birthplace would be Morville, in which case FamilySearch has a baptism of Naomi Shilsbury on 27th April 1798 at Morville, parents:Willm. Shilsbury and Sush (sic).

The 1851 has a Naomi Edmonds b 1800 Morvel Shropshire - wife of Benjamin - living in Staffs

Benjamin died in 1853 in Staffs

Image shows her as 51 but transcription as 31

No Baptism records for a Naomi Edmonds in Morville between 1800 and 1820.

In 1841 she is indexed as Kami Edmonds aged 35

In 1851 they are 60 and 51 respectively

In 1841 they are 45 and 35 respectively so a wide variation

There is something amiss here. From the OP:

.....but now we have Naomi Spilsbury marrying Benjamin Edmonds. Is the 'Lawley' right or a misprint ?

Many thanks for this. The baptism makes her older than I first thought.
Now is she the Naomi Edmonds that married John Spilsbury
John and Naomi Spilsbury are in Hanley Child in 1861 she being 50 from Marvil? they married in Tenbury district Q3 1858?
its her age bobbing about that is disconcerting and Spilsbury-Edmonds-Spilsbury

Oops sorrry its in my Lawley Tree yes it was benjamin Edmonds sorry for the confusion

The 1858 marriage is not online so can't see if her father is shown as William Spilsbury

The 1851 has no other reasonable match to Naomi Edmonds so I am 99.9% certain she's "the one"
