Hi Dan,

Yes found your William born Harefield with a Bridget and a Agnes on the 1891 C.
I just found the Agnes Harriet marriage to a Edwin George Buzer in 1904.
I have seen a Joseph Patrick O'Connor on a list of New York bound passengers
but I do not have the World Wide subscription to be able to look at it to see
if its your Agnes if she married Joseph?
Hope you find her soon.

regards Sandymc

Hi :-)

I have Edwin George Buzer in my tree, and yes, he married an Agnes Harriet Wright 13 August 1904. Records indicate that she passed away in East ham Essex 10 March 1961

Not sure if this helps

Surely Joseph OConnor is a red herring? And "your" Agnes married Edward Buzer, as first found in 2013 , reply #7.

Yes, PR shows her father to be William.

So, William Wright, the carman, born Brentwood Essex had a daughter Agnes who married Joseph OConnor.

William Wright, mixed occupations (salesman on AH's marriage cert), born Harefield, had a daughter Agnes Harriet who married Edward Buzer.

Agnes Harriet Wright (1881) who married Edward Buzzer in 1904 was the daughter of:

Father:  William Wright born 1852 Essex (fish Salesman on the 1901 census, salesman on the 1904 marriage) and

Mother: Agnes Wright (possibly nee Brown) born 1851 Cambridgshire.

The Agnes who married Joseph Patrick O'Connor had a father William with occupation Carman

As I say I have my Agnes Wright on the 1901 census with her mother Bridget, but nothing further.  The marriage of an Agnes Wright to a Joseph Patrick O'Connor is the only likely possibility I have found but unable to find either after the marriage to confirm or not.

Reply #5 found the Brentwood born one as a carman in 1891.So I still think that is the father of the Agnes marrying Joseph.

Reply #7 mentions your one, bn Harefield, also in 1891. Which I think is therefore the father of the Agnes marrying Edward.

Well, that is still how I see it, anyway!!!

The William Wright born Brentford Essex was a Carman on the 1891 census but a Fish Salesman on the 1901 census - the same occupation on Agnes Harriets marriage to Edward Buzzer.

However I am still hoping to find Joseph Patrick O'Connor and the Agnes he married to make absolutely sure.
