Margaret Roberts
« on: Saturday 20 April 13 14:42 BST (UK) »
Trying to find, in 1871, a Margaret Roberts, born Llandygai, Caernarfonshire. She was a servant with a Drew family in Beaumaris, Anglesey, before they returned to Shropshire in the mid to late 1860s.

Sorry, that is all I have.

There is a 1871 census showing a Margaret Roberts (b: 1850 Llandegai, Caernarfonshire, Wales) married to a Robert Roberts (b:1850 Llandegai, Caernarfonshire, Wales), a "Quarryman" living in Llandegai, Caernarfonshire, Wales, with a child Mary Jane 11 months.

My 'missing' Margaret Roberts was born c1839, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Roberts. She is a servant to the Drew family in 1861. The family returned to Shropshire (Shrewsbury?) post 1861 but I do not know whether she went with them. there is no trace of her in the Caernarfonshire census or marriage/death records subsequently.
