Seeking any info on mother's family. She was born in county Cavan in 1923 father Abraham Moore mother Jane Bradley. Her name Violet sister Nula born 1920 and Sylvia born last. They lived in College St. Cavan No one new anything about her father he was a mystery. They moved to England in 1950,s I think. Abraham born 1877 ish died late 50`s. Sisters left Ireland first before 2nd war. Visited Cavan in 1960`s with mum and dad few cousins left some farmers in Armagh. No one left of family to answer questions. Will stop but there is not really much else I know. Abraham was a cobbler.
I would love to hear from anyone who could help me.

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Hi Jimmy,

Or should I call you Jamie??  I have found out heaps about Abraham and know all about him now.  All this from his Army discharge papers.  He was married before and had another family that no one knew about.  Maybe I can help you - lol.

How are you doing these days?

Cheers  Jane- your long lost cousin!!

Hi Jane,

Cousin Carol ( Sylvia's Daughter) is also in touch with me. So the question is, how do we all contact each other ?
Yes, I'm sure that you can help me. I can share Abraham's death certificate with you and a great OS map of Cavan 1909 if you don't have them already. Looking forward to speaking with you. Jim
