Thanks Blue This family were very poor so I guess they were buried in public graves. Mary was only 39 and left very young children. ( 1864 ) Then her husband Francis died of smallpox 1871. Tatlock Street Liverpool. After his death the house was left empty. I know that their Son Henry who was age 7 in 1864 went on to live with his married  sister Annie ( age 10 in 1864 ) 1871 census, but not after his mothers death.
John Schamburg was age 14 in 1864
Teresa Schamburg age 8 in 1864
Henry age 7 in 1864
Mary age 5 in 1864,
I wonder if the children and father went into workhouse. Very sad times.

Hi Victoria,
The grave is DZ 101. The online index has many errors; D101 belongs to a family named Taafe.
DZ101 is a public grave so the information you have is all there is.
SJ 1941 is also a public grave.
cheers

Ozranga's right after checking Ford index records for two of the surnames in my family that I have DZ was in usage in the 1860s. AD wasn't in use until the 1910s. The private section D was in use from the 1950s onwards. Confusingly there's also a private section DZ used from 1950s onwards.

Victoria

As a one off these are the details gathered from the online burial records I don't think there are specific grave contents records for any public graves at Ford this will give you an insight into public graves at Ford. Remember that these people were not paupers they paid for their burials they just didn't buy the whole plot:-

DZ 101

10 Mar, - Smith, 62 Caple Street, 2 days
10 Mar, Teresa Ord, 86 Pitt Street, 13 months
10 Mar, Joseph Hearns, 15 Collingwood Street, 9 months
10 Mar, Mary Shamburg, 41 Shaw's Alley, 39
10 Mar, Michael Connor, 1 Court Pickup Street, 75
10 Mar, John McGowan, Liverpool Workhouse, 50
10 Mar, Catherine Campbell, 26 Court Albert Street (Park), 37(?)
10 Mar, Michael Keary, Henry Edward Street, 47
10 Mar, Mary Donnolly, 117 Wolfe Street, 15 months
10 Mar, John Atkinson, 51 Torbock Street, 66

Hi Victoria,
Blue is quite correct; a public grave can contain dozens of deceased persons, and the chances of family members being interred together are vitually zero, unless they were buried on the same day.
Blues list is complete for public grave DZ101
Smith, Corrigan, Hart. Walker, Mellett, Bridge, Brew , Nelson (Liverpool)
Smith, Parfrey, Corrigan, Conway, White (Cork. Ire)
