RTR/RAC ?
« on: Thursday 04 July 13 22:58 BST (UK) »
How do all,

I've recently found out that my gt grandfather was either in one of the Royal tank regiments or the Royal armoured corps. All I have is a name, how likely is it that I would find some more gen on him?

Surely the Royal Tank Regiment is/was part of the Royal Armoured Corps?

They won't have his personal records - which as Ady says, would need to be applied for from the MOD
