Ellen Kenny - Waterford or Tipperary?

I have an Ellen Kenn(e)y who married John Nelson Gardham (a Mariner, b.1799 in Bridlington, Yorkshire).  On all census' she gives her birth place as Waterford, Ireland between 1799 and 1801.

Ellen is married and in Liverpool by 1841, their first child being born in Bristol in 1821 (Thomas Nelson Gardham).

By Thomas' birth I am judging they married 1819-ish, but I cannot find a marriage entry anywhere, so that is the first issue.

Secondly I have found a possibly christening in Ireland in 1802, child of Patrick and Catherine (nee Maragh) but in Clonmel, Tipperary.  As Tipperary and Waterford are next to each other I am minded to say this is 'my' Ellen, but I can find no more children, and no marriage for Patrick and Catherine either.

Any help in tracking Ellen, Patrick and Catherine would be gratefully received.

See reply from "Ben999" on this link...explains how close County Waterford is to the town of Clonmel.  Also some parishes straddle the two counties.

Do you know Catherines maiden surname?  (apart from Maragh on the 1802 Baptism record)

If you find Clonmel on the map follow the river east and you will come to Carrick on Suir, go south and it's between Rath gormack and Portlaw.
