I think this Bruce link is worth pursuing. Daniel William Janvrin, b.1848, son of Daniel Jones Janvrin, marries Elizabeth McKennell b.1853 and there is a Bruce Reginald McK Janvrin birth in 1880 in West Ham.

The name Bruce probably comes from a surname- perhaps on Elizabeth's side of the family.

It seems as though Daniel William Janvrin & Elizabeth McKennell had several children-
Ivy Muriel Frances (1875), Canada
Daniel Clarendon Marmaduke (1876-1952), Australia
Bruce Reginald McK. (1880-1921)
Wallace Dudley Stanley (1885-1960), Canada then U.S.
Mabel Maud (1891-1984)

Wonder if this is another child?
Henrietta Janvrin birth 8 Jan.1882- registered West Ham (same district as Bruce 2 years earlier)- died 1971 Chelsea district

Added- she was possibly Henrietta Jones Janvrin according to 1965 electoral register.

Might be her in Romford, Essex in 1901? Henrietta Janvrin, 19, servant, born Leystonstone Essex

Thanks
What site do you tend to use, I agree that this is likely. I'm also going to have a look for DW Janvrin's death... nothing obvious so far.

Interesting... he goes by Stanley and Father is listed as William.
Annoying when they switch names! :)

At least 2 online trees give Daniel Clarendon Marmaduke was the son Of Daniel William & Elizabeth but that would need to be verified.
This is what I was hoping to do, it seems to make sense... and considering the request to brother Bruce it could be him, although how many Daniel M Janvrins in Sydney??
Thank you for all this, most helpful.

I have received the testament for DJJ. It's quite hard to decipher. Perhaps someone might be able to help decipher but I guess it maybe against the rules (sharing and copyright), anyone know what is allowed? James
