Alfred Benjamin Waters (or Walters) of Abersychan/Blaenavon
« on: Wednesday 04 September 13 22:29 BST (UK) »
My great-grandmothers brother Alfred Benjamin Waters was registered first quarter of 1875 at Pontypool, Mon and baptised in Abersychan, Pontypool on 25 April 1875

In the 1881 Census, the family are living at 5 Hill Street, Blaenavon,

Piece:
5237
Folio:
120
Page Number:
38

Benjamin Waters 32
Mary S. Waters 28
Virginia S. Waters 7
Alfred B. Waters 6
Ernest G. Waters 3
E. Mary Waters 1

By the time of the 1891 Census, Mary S, my great great grandmother had died (April 1888) and was buried at Blaenavon and Benjamin, E. Mary & a further daughter Elvira H were lodging at Abersychan - there is no sign of Alfred

Through much searching I have failed to find him .... the family was prone to be recorded as both Waters & Walters but no records seem to fit

If anyone can throw any light on this it would be appreciated

Thanks
