Hi Norrie

Onto a new branch of the tree  - do you have any headstones for  Andrew Martin and Anne Oliphant.  Anne Martin nee Oliphant died before 1874, and was married to Andrew Martin.  Their children were born from 1838 till 1850 so I anticipate they married about 1835-37 and guessing they were born around 1805-1815.   Their children were John born 1838, Ann born 1839, Andrew born 1841, George born 1844, John born 1846 (I suspect first child John died) Samuel 1848 and James 1850 (you have already supplied me with photo for James Martin who married Margaret Lister).  All the children were born in Wemyss.

Many thanks
Sorry no headstone for the above whho did their children Marry and will check for them

Andrew Martin born 1841 I think married Agnes Wood in Wemyss in 1873, on a quick search I cant locate any children born to this couple.

George married Hellen Braid (maybe Helen) in 1868.  they had one child Andrew.   George died in 1910 but is listed as buried in Dysart so wont be on your list I believe.

Hi Norrie
I have communicated with you in the past and you were most helpful. I have been looking at another aspect of my husband's family namely Alexander Peter who married Janet Kinnear 7.2.1823 at Wemyss. I have found his death 27th August 1862 age 66 where he is quoted as widower of Janet Kinnear. I can't find any information about Janet's death however (between 1851 and 1861). This is a long shot but I was wondering if there were any PETER /KINNEAR headstones that you are aware of? I have also been unable to find any births for this couple although a daughter Margaret was born about 1824 and it is stated that Alexander and Janet are her parents, (She married George Bisset PATRICK) also if I have found the correct census returns there was a son James born about 1827. Any help would be most appreciated, here in sunny Australia. Thank you.

Hi Norrie  do you by any chance have a John Martin died Mar 1857 buried East Wemyss.  Hi wife was Marion Whyte who predeceased him but I dont have her date of death yet - I think it was between 1851 and 1857.

thanks
