The Importance of finding Oscar
« on: Sunday 13 October 13 21:15 BST (UK) »
Hello,
Oscar Dunstan Winterbottom (what a name!) was born in London, in 1891. He married Kathleen in 1918. The next decade was spent living in Southport, with frequent visits to New York and elsewhere. At the end of the thirties, he disappears off the radar. Can anyone help me find Oscar, as he's beginning to drive me wild.
                                   Many Thanks
                                         Wayne

also in passenger lists the last sighting of him his wife and a mark brickhill [ chairman of Oscars company ] is for 1939 I,m wondering if they went to usa and stayed to sit out the war , I don,t have access to incoming passenger lists [ ancestry has those ] it would be worth checking them to see when they returned .
