John Robert Fournear COUPER

John was born on 1/11/1860 in South Shields.  The family story is that he was a Carpenter and travelled as part of the Crew to Australia.  I found him in the 1881 Census in England then nothing until his marriage in 1886 in New South Wales.
I'm trying to find the ship on which he worked his way to Australia.

Any ideas where to find this information would be gratefully received.

You'll find emigration records, including ship and dates, on the Ancestry website, which is normally available free at local libraries.

Thank you for sending a reply.
Unfortunately I have tried Ancestry and found nothing on this man at all.
Also tried Find my Past ...  again a blank.

I have found him on ships in Australian waters as a Steward/Cook after his arrival here.
