Think he was a banker, other Grooms on the same page in the Parish Register have their profession listed

So this puts this part of my tree in to question - the marriage I have in my records is below but is definitely transcribed wrong as Holman.  I am pretty sure our family were not bankers or anything remotely like it - more like agric labourers and I had doubts about the Quaker thing too.  Never knew about access to the registers like this - fantastic. Thanks folks.

So I think back to the drawing board!

My supposed Sarah Cay b 1716 in Ludham to Thos and Judith seems to have married Edward Holman in 1742 in Heydon

The Heydon PR's show that Edward Holman married Sarah Holman 4 Jan 1742/3
