Yes she is still alive and kicking. All that she can remember is that she went with her brother, and it was somewhere near the Brecon Beacons??
Her brother has died and I've tried putting him on the 1939 but no luck?

The 1939 register was updated with marriages and deaths up to 1991.

If you find someone (I did this with both my mum and dad) that you know has already died you can ask for their record to be opened,on production of a death cert.

Otherwise they are gradually opening closed records of those who have died in more recent years and those who would now be over 100 years old.

I was on the hope of finding out where he may have been sent to, as they went together??
