Ambrose PARADICE Corsham
« on: Thursday 24 October 13 07:06 BST (UK) »
I am looking for information about the birth of Ambrose Paradice.
He married in Corsham in 1793 and died in 1843 in Bristol.
I guess he was born around 1760-1770 , most likely in Corsham but I can't currently find a trace.
If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be great.
Thanks

Hi - if you Google his name you'll see quite a bit about him.

                                                                                      Regards

Thanks
Have looked at Google and yes there is lots of information there about his children.  I knew quite a bit of that but there was some new information which was helpful.  However it doesn't help me to find details of Ambrose Paradice's birth, and that's where I am currently stuck.

Burial record says aged 82 at death in January 1843, so most likely born in 1760, if that is accurate, in case that helps.

The name isn't actually a common one. ;) Do you not think he might be the son of an elder Ambrose Paradis?

Would that be your Ambrose before his marriage?

It would seem to be a bit of a jagged line of Ambrose Paradices, all pretty surely related. I would see whether you can put together family groups out of them!
