Hi, I have a marriage certificate that I believe to be relevant to Eric Brown. It is dated 1943, the marriage is between Brown and Marr. His address is written as 1 Leeds Street and Occupation is a Truck Driver.

I have been searching for records on him, as I believe he may be my Great Grandfather.

I can't see a marriage on the Victoria BMD site for an Eric BROWN in 1943.  If you can transcribe this marriage certificate we may be able to help.

The Eric BROWN shown here seems to have been married to Gladys May STRACHAN in 1939 and she was listed with him on electoral rolls until her death.
