William Breybrook, Souldrop, Bedford.
« on: Monday 25 November 13 20:31 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I am looking for any info re a William Breybrook who married Jane Gray at Blunham, Beds, 24 Feb 1711.

I can find two William's on the LDS :-,

William, son of George, bap 3 April 1692 at Souldrop.

William, son of Thomas, bap 14 Feb 1694 at Souldrop.

I am unable to tie my 'William' down to either of these entries.

Any help would be most welcome.

Kind Regards,

Mark.

Pre 1754 so no witnesses. That early you're lucky to get more than the two names.

There's a burial of a William Brabrooke in Souldrop in 1695 according to the free index at http://www.findmypast.co.uk/search/parish-records/baptisms  (click on burials once you're in. I always forget!)

Excellent.

Thank you everyone.

I found a private FT which stated that William was the son of George, I have asked for the whereabouts of this info but, thanks to you all, I can concentrate on George as opposed to Thomas.

Regards,

Mark.

Okay,

I am hoping to finish the 'Breybrook' side of things and would like to ask if anyone has any info on the following people. I have gone as far as I can but, perhaps, someone may have a little bit of additional info from their own 'library'.  ::)

Marriage of a William Breybrook bap 26 May 1625 Souldrop, buried 9 June 1689 Souldrop. His wife was Ann ???. I believe they had a number of children between 1656 and 1671. Ann was buried 5 April 1671 Souldrop.

Marriage of a George Breybrook bap 16 Jan 1670/71 Souldrop. I believe he had a number of children between 1692 - 1715. Probably buried 4 Mar 1721, Souldrop.

As I say, there is probably no other info available on these two marriages but you never know. ;) ;)

Kind Regards,

Mark.
