Hi,

They are two separate areas; Limehouse is in East London and Shoreditch to the north of the city.

Do you have any names of the pubs?  Sometimes a google search will give results; that's how I found one building now being used as offices.

these are pubs which i think that my gt gt gt grandfather worked in or was licensee he was charles pike also his son ran pubs and he was alfred pike and his wife partner hannah lusty and also george pike from the same family there are problem more but haven't found the details of those yet many many thanks

Just found this old thread.  hannahlee, just wondering if you managed to find a picture of Hind Arms, 61 Upper North Street, Poplar ? 

The building was built by the second husband of my ggg grandfather's twin sister.  In 1856 for some reason my ggg grandfather (a civil engineer) leased it it from his brother-in-law.  This is a snippet of the plan of the plot, note the "urinal" in back garden.

I'd love to have a picture of the pub
