John Cody (Coady) 1854....

Would appreciate some help with this one please, some months ago I was given a rough area for the above, Coppaquinn,Co Waterford, any thing at all would be good. He left Ireland at some point and had a son in Lincoln UK (Michael Cody) 1889, I would like John`s Spouse & marriage or putting right if possible. My direct line comes from Elizabeth Oconnor who wed Michael Cody 1913 in Lincoln UK, his parents are named as John & Catherine but not 100%, Like I said I would really like some help with this one please..

I wonder if he married a cousin or relation, throughout the census a Bridget Cody is with them (John and Catherine) listed as wife's sister.

Can't help with marriage details but Freebmd has this reference

Thanks for that Claire, is it a possibility to find out if he in fact did originate from Ireland, I can not remember where  orwho gave me the info but the town of Coppaquin was mentioned near Co Waterford. It may well have been the father but not sure, any ideas........

From each census he is consistent with a birthplace c1854 Ireland, but 1901 census he puts CORK. Ireland as his birthplace.

Can't find anything on FS or similar.
