Hello,

'Tis indeed confusing!

I'm tending to agree with Yokel that all these children were baptised by the same couple,  Isaac Hardy and his wife Ann(e) Everett.

I did find another baptism, this time at Thetford St Cuthbert - a Samuel, baptised in December 1778
(from the Archdeacons Transcripts)

It seems this couple fell on hard times, as there was a Settlement Order made that year, looks like the couple were living between Thetford St Mary and Thetford St Cuthbert -

(did try to shrink the link but it wouldn't let me!)

Hi yorkslass,

When you refer to baptised do you mean the couple 'produced' the children as well?

Mike.
