So Jane is a wife not a widow in 1851 which was indicate he was still alive somewhere.

Is Jane a widow in 1861?

Beg pardon I see Jane is a widow in 1851.

Could be this death with baby on the way depending when in 1844 she was born.
Dec 1843 Machynlleth.

If that's the wrong area I'm afraid there are several in Abergavenny to choose from between those dates  :-\

Tks for reply, Jane was a widow in 1851 census and 1861 census and on her daughters marriage certificate 1867 Rees Davies listed as deceased. trying to find his death and as last child born of his marriage was  Ann in 1844, I presume his death could be from prior to birth 1844 to 1850, I am looking at that window from 1843 to 1850 , registered in Abergavenny. They appear to live Parish of Bedwellty. Trying to fill in all the gaps in my research. Thanks Palma
