Scam E-mails
« on: Wednesday 12 February 14 19:44 GMT (UK) »
I have just received an e-mail purportedly from BT.  It comes with their logo and telling you that your e-mail account is currently limited for security purposes.  It also quotes an http:// address and asks you to log onto it.  The English wording is not quite perfect.  It is not signed by any named person and just finishes with BT Internet.  I was immediately suspicious and spoke to BT.  They confirmed that this was nothing to do with them and not to click on the http:// quoted.
