thanks

It looks likely that Margaret is Ernest's mother and that Richard is his grandfather

Richard is living in 2 Fairbourne Road, which is on the same street as Margaret in 1911

Your're very welcome - hope it helps - Could this be Margaret Ann Whittall in 1911 -  Martley Worcestershire - parlour maid - didn't see anything after that so far.

A small snippet of family history -  Cambrian News and Merionethshire Standard, 13 July 1906

Dolgelly county court

Williams v. Whittall.—Wm. Williams, quarryman, Tanydderwen, Friog, sued Richard Whittall, gardener, Einion' House, Friog, and gamekeeper to Mr Hornby, for £ 5 for a cat.—Mr Guthrie Jones appeared for defendant.—Plaintiff said he went to defendant and asked for the cat he had shot and defendant- said it was buried. Plaintiff expressed a desire to inter the cat in his own way. The cat was then put on a wall at his disposal. The cat was worth £10.- The Judge said he should like to know the character cf the cat and Mr Guthrie Jones said it was a poacher, having a liking for Mr Hornby's Belgian hares and pheasants. —Mr Hornby and Mr Whittall gave evidence to the effect that the cat was seen watching the rabbit warren on the day of its death and that on previous occasions young pheasants had been found dead on the track of the cat's march homeward.—Mr Jones, on being asked why Mr Hornby had not killed the cat before said he would have shot it only he had no gun with him at the time 'Tho Judge said the cat was perhaps smart enough to see there was no gun about before it started on its expeditions. He ultimately gave judgment for defendant without costs

There's also one mention of Margaret, as bridesmaid to her sister Sarah Elizabeth in 1900

(the item hasn't scanned well, owing to it being in the column next to the spine of the binder)

I was wondering about a possible for Margaret in 1901 - a servant aged 25 in Bromley. Ancestry have transcribed her birthplace as Montgomeryshire, Carlow, Ireland but image looks like Carno
