Is it possible to find a place for the Bailey Family for 1937...to see if they were still living in Newport,Mon.

Hi again, only now seen your latest message, my BT line has been down for the last 2 weeks.
The problem with trying to find anybody living in Newport from the electoral registrars, back before the 30's they changed the registrars from being in alphabetical order of names to being in ward and street order, so to find any particular person you would have to look at every page and hope that you can find them, i have done this for myself and it took me 6 months on every Saturday to complete the task.

Hi,one thing might be to check the Kelly's/phone directory for the names/years your looking for and then double check with the electoral registers.
