may have come from Boghill

I wonder is it a mistranscription of the name Savage.

It was spelled Evage in an old book for the family around Boghill
But that does not mean It could not  have been Savage or  spelled a number other ways

Just checking, have you looked at the image of the marriage record for Nancy Eavage to John Park in civil registration records (GRONI online registration number = M/1846/K1/1070/1/47)
