1851, 1861 census - Brixham - SIMKINS

Love to know if any SIMKINS, SIMPKINS are living in Brixham in 1851 and 1861.

For 1841, I already have Clara, aged 20, bonnet maker in Milton street - thanks to Kris.

Hi Christine,

I've found two Simpkins, mother & daughter living at a Grocer's shop in Fore Street,  Brixham in 1861.  The complete household is:

William Spark, Head, Mar, 63, Carpenter
Susan Spark, Wife, Mar, 63
Sarah F Simkins, Dau, Mar, 38
Susan F Simkins, Granddau, 1
William Spark, Son, Mar, 36, Ship Carpenter
Mary F Spark, Dau, Unm, 30, Grocer
Elizabeth Spark, Dua, Unm, 27, Grocer
Kate Spark, Dau, Unm, 24, Grocer
Mary Cripsey, Serv, Wid, Nurse

All were born in Brixham.

have checked the 1851 census and there are no Simkins/Simpkins living in Brixham at the time sorry

thanks for that - Sarah Furneux Simkins shows up as a grocer later on in 72 Fore Street in an 1878 directory (but is not in the 1852/53 directory) Sarah is widowed, and  with  daughter in the 1881.

I asked a friend of mine in here in Oz for a lookup in the South Australian BDMs as my John had his first child there - and was stunned to have an email this morning telling me that there was a Clara Goodman LULY, nee Simkins, having children in SA from 1854!  And even more thrilling was the fact that one of her children has the middle name of Furneux, so I'm really on to something.  Oh, this Clara is the bonnet maker from 1841, who is later in directories in Dartmouth with her middle name Goodman - the same middle name as my John.

I also checked and there are none for Brixham. Should have read all the comments before I started looking!!   
Actually I have the DFHS 1851 Census surname index for Brixham and surrounding area.... there are none in Marldon, Paignton, Churston Ferrers, Kingswear, Stoke Gabriel, Dittisham or Dartmouth.
