The IGI lists no John Wilsons born 1858-1860 in Gamrie. You must surely have more information about him?

If he died in Scotland, go for his death certificate from www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk - that will tell you the names of his parents.

If not, where and when did he marry? Where did he live? What were the names of his children? Have you found him in any census?
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Hmmm. If I were you I would start by looking for Adina's birth certificate at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk - an unusual name like that should be easy to find. A quick look at the index there finds one birth of an Adina Wilson, in 1912. You can download a digital copy of that certificate, as it is over 100 years old.

The certificate will tell you the full name of her mother and the date and place of her parents' marriage.

The parents' marriage certificate should tell you the full names of the couple's parents, including their mothers' maiden names.

Scotland's People is a pay-per-view site, but reasonably priced if you get your searches right.
