Hi im looking for info on the above i think someone in my tree enlisted with them in 1909,Harry Hardy  has a regimental number 1041,but i cant find any info,
any help greatly appreciated

The Earldom of Chester is linked to the title of Prince of Wales.  Prince Charles is the current earl.  I'm afraid I don't think that there would have been a 5th Earl of Chester in 1909  :-\

Yes, it's the name of the regiment and the battalion, not the name of a  person!  ;)
