« on: Thursday 03 July 14 19:35 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find the baptism certificates of my brothers who where born in Well Street in Bangor they were  (*)Jones born in July 1935 and  (*)Jones born in March 1938 their mother was Catherine Jones does any one have any idea how or who I might try. I have tried the Caernarvon records office and the cathedral archives but no luck.

Hi Yendor

We have a 'no living people' policy here so I've removed their names.

The faith they were baptised into usually determines where to look for records. What denomination are we talking about?

Having said that though, as these dates are quite recent, the records could still be at the church.

Where were you baptised?

Dawn

Hi Dawn both brothers deceased many years I was christened at St Davids in Bangor which is at the other end of the town and they where not Catholic so it might have been one of the local chapels or the nearest church     yendor

Well street is in the middle of Bangor, if memory serves me right. There was a large Presbyterian chapel at Lon Bobty.
