I have a far out connection by marriage with a variant of this name. My great great grandmother's brother, George MCMILLAN, (1856 - 1930) married (for the second time) Jane Ann STRICKSON, who was the daughter of William STRICKSON and Hannah Elizabeth BLOWFIELD. They raised some 11 children at Barnwell Farm, All Saints, Northamptonshire, England, but both spouses seem to be natives of Great Gidding, Huntingdonshire. More info. if you need it.
